Andrea is a graduate of the College of Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (CMATCM) where she trained in the principles and application of Chinese medicine within Western Medicine

After qualifing she went to China where she took a post graduate clinical training programme at the prestigious Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine under the guidance of Dr Kun a renowned TCM doctor specialising in acupuncture for pain relief.

Andrea has attended training on Fertility and IVF Treatments entitled, "Infertility and Treatments in Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine" . Guest speakers included DR Ye Zhang from the UK and Dr Helen Spillane from Holles St Hospital. The seminar covered acupuncture treatments for Fertility and I.V.F. from both a western and a TCM context.

She has also attended a training on Pregnancy and Fertility Issues given by Debra Betts, a leading New Zealand based acupuncturist and midwife who has extensive experience in treating pregnancy and fertility issues.

She is a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland a professional body that regulates and maintains a register of fully qualified and insured practitioners.
